What is Dhamma life

Dhamma life is a project. A project to try and make Dhamma teachings available and relevant to everyday living.

I am looking to create projects in the community. Projects being activities where groups of people can do work needed in the community. For example mindful litter picks, cleaning graffiti, repairing playgrounds, feeding the homeless and what ever projects arise. Bringing meditation to the working classes who usually can not afford to go to retreats. So creating affordable retreats, working in prisons doing retreats and work projects.e.t.c e.t.c

Dhamma life is also about creating on going contact with a teacher. I have noticed that those people who have regular contact with a teacher seem to find their practice developing strength form the support and guidance a teacher can give. This I imagine doing by having a limited number of people I can work with who have the interest and desire to develop a meditation practice. There would be a sliding scale of suggested Dana depending on the persons available resources.

What is Dana.Dana mean generosity in Pali. So as a Buddhist meditation teacher it traditional to live of the generosity of others. It is kind of reciprocal in that the teacher shares his skills and people give generously in regards to there resources so that the teacher can focus on developing their practice and understanding so that they are able to continues to help others develop their own skills and resources.

If interested in helping to arrange retreats, workshops, talks or our interested in developing a meditation practice with ongoing support from me contact me @
